A. Acute Laryngitis - The most common cause of hoarseness and voice loss that starts suddenly. Most cases are caused by a viral infection that leads to swelling of the vocal cords.
B. Chronic Laryngitis - Refers to an inflammatory process that determines irreversible alterations of the laryngeal mucosa. It is currently the topic of interest and constitutes a challenge to medical experts because of the newly identified etiopathogenetic factors related to the change in quality of pollutants and toxic products found in workplaces.
Ear Problems:
Most often, ear problems are caused by ear infections which can cause complications like hearing impairment if not treated in time. This is really common among call center employees because of the nature of the work. Eye Problems:
Most call center employees experience temporary eye problems from time to time like itching, blurriness or fatigue. These though are just short lived and will probably go away with no complications. However, sudden eye problems and those that last for more than a couple of days should be checked by an eye expert. Stress, fatigue and excessive caffeine are some factors which contribute to eye problems. Call center employees have most of their time spent in front of a computer which makes them very vulnerable to eye problems. It is advisable that we wear eye protections, manage stress, have a daily exercise and maintain a healthy diet.
